Beautifully scripted in elegant nasta’liq is from a copy of the greatest work by Elyan Yusof Nezami Ganjavy (1141-1209) the greatest Persian romantic epic poet. The work is in five sections being Treasury of Mysteries, Khoarow and Shirin, Leyla and Majnum, The Severn Beauties of Thrones, and Alexander the Great. Attractively embellished with gold leaf bordering and illuminated floral panel heading each verse.
