The Death and Funeral of Mary II – four editions of the London Gazette 1694(5) reporting on the Queen’s illness (from smallpox) and her subsequent death. There is also a report on the address to the King (William III) from the Lord Mayor, Aldermen and Common Council of the City of London, in the wake of the Queen’s death, and an account of the funeral. Material relating to Mary II is rare on account of her very short reign.
