Duncan, George - “Golf at the Gallop” 1st edition “Review” copy 1951 complete with the rare dust jacket (minor nicks and tears and some thumb stains), internally clean featuring photographic illustration instructions to the rear - overall (F/G) plus official letter from Sporting Handbooks Ltd requesting the newspaper review and setting out the points which should be noted covering first of all the achievements of George Duncan who won the open in 1920 and was also captain of the 1st Ryder Cup team in 1929 - secondly expressive title chosen by Duncan to describe the spirit in which he lived and played the game. 2nd point is the arrangement of the book which is divided into 2 parts autobiography and instruction illustrated by more than 250 photographs and finally and more importantly Duncan’s willingness to discuss the present and the future of British golf (2)
