India – Delhi Dubar two fine English photo albums from a high status family who spent considerable time in India during the late 19th c/early 20th c period. Including photographs taken in various parts of India, and a considerable amount of ephemera including programmes, tickets, souvenirs etc. Some autographs including Kitchener and Gerald du Maurier, also photographs and ephemera relating to the family’s visits back to England and in Europe. Of particular interest are the invitations and other ephemera relating to their connections with the Royal family, including original tickets etc relating to the Delhi Durbar of 1911 when George V became the first British monarch to visit India.
