Gandhi delicately carved miniature figures representing the Three Wise Monkeys (‘Speak no Evil See no Evil Hear no Evil’) in a white wood, originally attached to a small wooden tray, now detached but easily restored. These belonged to Gandhi and were with him at Juhu. A remarkable artefact showing how Gandhi kept with him the philosophical message carried by the figures of the monkeys at all times. From the house in India where Gandhi lived his life Palm Bun at Juhu, from 1917-1934. It is featured in the book ‘Sumati Morarjee – Felicitation Volume, Bombay 1970.
