Ephemera – Paris – peep show concertina folding hand coloured and etched peepshow with four cut out sections, untitled and undated, but probably c1830s. When extended, the viewer can see a fine view of a wide boulevard extending towards a fine building. A fountain is in the middle distance and there are various figures strolling, one with a little dog. Decorative boards a little scuffed. Three peepholes – two circular and one square. Interior contents appear in fine order with unblemished characters – extremely rare for such an item of this age, though there is evidence of old repairs to tears in the base of sections.
