Gloucestershire – Cirencester and Coates a very large plan on paper drawn up under the Act for the Inclosure, Exchange and Improvement of Land 1862, between Earl Bathurst of Oakley Park, Cirencester, owner of cottages and lands including parts of Lower and Upper Green Fields and Little Tyning in Coates and part of Jarvis’s Quarry Piece in Cirencester, comprising 55acres, and William Tombes Dewe of the Manor House, Coates, owner of land in Coates being parts of Perimore Green Field, Bush Hill and Bucken Hill, comprising 76 acres. The plan mostly shows field boundaries but includes cottages and the school in Coates and the site of lime kilns. Interleaved with the plan is the original parchment document being the declaration of the Inclosure Commissioners with schedules of land etc, signed and dated with an affixed red wax seal of the Commission.
