English Civil War – Commonwealth Treasury group of approx five ms documents signed by Robert Wilson, Solicitor of the Publique Revenue and addressed to Thomas Fauconbridge, Receiver General, and recording the sums due to the Sherrifs account for Essex (1651 & 1652), Dorset (1651 &1652), and Gloucester (1652). They include details of fees allowed to various officers of the Exchequer in presenting the accounts, together with a detailed statement of the Auditors fees for the Sheriff of Devon’s account in 1652, and a receipt for preparing this account.
