The catalogue provides a description of the item, a guide price and lists its order in the sale as well as a reference, which you will need if you are looking to leave a commission bid, bid online, or arrange a telephone bid. The online image forms part of the description and if you have any queries it is always best to contact us at the office. 

Yes. Items included in the sale are available for you to view prior to the sale, but an appointment must be made as there is limited parking available. Whilst we do include detailed photographs and descriptions in our catalogue and online, we would also recommend that you make arrangements to view the item before bidding or acquire a condition report prior to bidding.

A guide price is set by our team to give prospective bidders an indication of the price we expect the lot to sell at. This isn't fixed and items can be sold for significantly more, or less than this up to a reserve, which the seller sets. This reserve is confidential and if the item does not reach it, the lot will be withdrawn from sale.

A member of our auction team will be happy to bid on your behalf, however, we will need to make arrangements prior to the sale, and to complete a commission bid application. We also stream auctions live via www.the-saleroom.com and www.easyliveauctions.com, so you can also register before the auction and place bids online. All commission bids need to be with the office by 4pm the day before the auction.

I intend to bid remotely, so how do I arrange collection of the item?
Once payment has cleared we will be happy to make arrangements for suitable collection and delivery.

A Buyers' Premium of 20.5% of the hammer price (PLUS VAT) is payable. There are additional Internet Surcharges on top of the Buyer's Premium, please contact us for more details about these.
